What makes Current PT and Sports performance different from traditional outpatient PT?
Current PT is a cash-based clinic, meaning your care is not dictated by insurance restrictions. Every session is one-on-one, allowing us to provide highly personalized, evidence-based care focused on your goals. In insurance based clinics, care is dictated by reaching an insurance company’s goals, not your goals.
DO I need a referral for PT?
if you’re in TN, no! Please reach out if you are from another state to discuss direct access availability and options. No referrals are necessary for performance programming or movement for life programming.

How many visits will I need?
That depends on your goals and condition. Some people see results in a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer, structured plan for lasting change. We’ll discuss this together after a consultation call and initial evaluation. We provide package programs to help reduce cost of ongoing PT

What is gait analysis?
Gait analysis is the evaluation of how you walk or run. It looks at the way your body moves including your stride, joint motion, muscle activation, posture, and force patterns to identify inefficiencies, imbalances, or movement problems. Gait analysis can occur on a treadmill or track, and be done for walking or running.
After you video your gait, we comb through and analyze the videos, and provide feedback on shoes, exercises, and drills to improve overall gait mechanics and decrease risk of injury
What types of conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of orthopedic and movement-related issues including back, knee, shoulder, and neck pain; post-surgical rehab; overuse injuries; and performance limitations related to strength, mobility, or mechanics.
